puffins not in evidence at all this weekend although the kittiwakes seemed to ahve weathered the wind, but found a few others species on the weekend constitutional

I think this one was checking things out!

well what a glorious week, even if I was stuck in the office - hope that wasn't summer..............

What a glorious day

curlew on a frosty morning, a shy yellowhammer, an unusual kittiwake, razorbills getting used to be on the cliffs and the spring has sprung with the willow

the first photographable puffin..

well - near enough to attempt a photo....

which felt strange with snowdrops on the cliff top

there have been hares in the field for a while ....

if the puffins were still at sea, the razorbills and guillemots were investigating the cliffs..



and the kittiwakes already settled

keep the wildlife away

there is a rule that you stay 5 metres away from the wildlife - shame no-one told them!!

the frozen south...

A New Years Day

and a very wet one it is!!  So had to content myself with taking photos of the geese resident on the temporary lake in the field and a Sparrowhawk doing its usual trick of pretending not to get caught in the bush....
