Glorious Gannets (again)

Another great RSPB cruise yesterday, before which I went on the Yorkshire Belle  trip to Bempton (and Filey bay) -  amazing how many puffins were loafing around on the sea….

Island Hopping

Phew - have finally got my pics sorted from a great week visiting six islands in six days (well the boat stopped at one but who's counting!!).  The weather was kind - even HOT sunshine - and although distant we had quite a few views of White-tailed Eagles, Goldies, male and female Hen Harriers - and of course Puffins!!  Plus an amazing evening with Pine Martens…….  greedy sweet toothed beasts!!  Not forgetting Dolphins off Lunga, Manx Shearwaters everywhere and a steam train!!
