The Gannet Flower Festival

Gannets on form today!!  saying it with flowers - although I think one had the wrong idea with a nettle - a close puffin and a fly past from the Peregrine....

The Owl and the Kestrel....

It is not just Puffins at Bempton, sometimes 'car park' duty is the best - especially when a Barn Owl is hunting on the field, even more exciting when a Kestrel decided it wanted the catch!!  Not the best quality pics but a spectacle to see!!

A seabird cruise or two......

Had a great RSPB Seabird Cruise this morning, arriving back in Brid the sun was shining so stayed on board and went round again.........

North Cave and Cliffe

A trip to North Cave Wetlands (for the bacon butties) oh and a few birds, followed by finding (after a few three-point turns) North Cliffe wood for bluebells - seriously a disappointing start but a walk through the woods and they were found!!
