A day out at sea.....

An amazing day spending a total of seven hours on the water - first a Yorkshire Coast Nature trip followed by the RSPB Seabird cruise......  followed by an Osprey at Bempton today!!

 And the Gannets start coming in....

And then we went for diving gannets on the RSPB cruise - first time attempted and it worked!!

A day at Blacktoft

Weather (sea swell) caused a change of plans so joined the 'change-over' day traffic and headed south to Blacktoft.......  was rewarded with great views of a Ruff and distant but nicely performing Marsh Harriers - oh and a Water Rail chick.......

Back to Bempton......

Took my camera for a walk around the Headland today before settling down to watch the tennis.......  was trying out the different views of the sights!!

The Swallows are almost fledging - certainly a few trial flights today - but when food is still being brought why stray to far!!
