ON the 'road' to North Landing...

Went for a long walk today - weather gorgeous and birds have arrived!!

Gannet Fest (with an interloper!!)

Another great day (well afternoon) at Bempton ..........  the gannets were flying high, but the star of the day was a Great Skua patrolling - even over the car park late afternoon....

Puffin City

making no apology for posting lots of pics  - first day (for me) that the cliffs have been full - Bempton today was Puffin City - every viewpoint gave excellent views!!  Brill!!

South Landing antics on a bird feeder....

Had an early garden visitor on Saturday morning...........  at least this time it didn't try the peanut feeder - must have learnt the lesson from last time!

Sunday afternoon and a visit to the Living Seas Centre saw some antics at the feeding station...........  Can I?, Can I? - YES!!

and an obliging Goldfinch..

A day away from the coast (but still near water!!)

With a strong wind and clear blue skies todays destination was North Cave wetlands - in search of avocets and anything else we could find!!

The Avocets were found - but a bit distant!!

A Great Crested Grebe posed .....
