Yorkshire Belle - another day, another trip

Rain nearly stopped play but the sun came out so another trip on the Yorkshire Belle beckoned!!  Puffins had obviously gone away for the weekend but the gannets were lounging around on the sea (probably still recovering from the BB Albatross visit yesterday) enjoying the afternoon sun....  Bempton looked glorious as did Sewerby Hall.

Had a great day with two cruises on the Yorkshire Belle - didn't manage to see the BB Albatross that was wandering around Bempton this afternoon but was still worth it!!

 

An evening at Bempton

Had a great (if cold) evening with YFoto pals at Bempton, after some searching we found the Puffins hiding out at Staple Newk.  Razorbills enjoying the evening sun (and egg), Bridled Guillemot with shadows......  and an amazing moon on the way home.

A short walk round the Head

The day finally clearing - and continued to -  I walked the Head this afternoon.  The car park was full but not too many walking so had a slow mooch round with plenty of photo-stops.......
