Bempton - Windy!!

A windy day is often the best day to visit - but only when in the right direction!! It was today........

A walk at Flamborough

had a change today and left the car on the drive...  and walked north round the Headland; not too many Puffins around but the Gannets were close hugging the cliffs (maybe trying to keep out of the cold wind??) - plenty of Razorbills and Guillemots and Fulmars hanging in the air - a good day!!!

Going further afield - North Cave!!

Seemed like today was the best weather forecast for the weekend so braved the traffic and headed off for North Cave Wetlands - very windy but the bacon and egg butties were good!!  Avocets were 'interesting' when looking at the pics when got home - the Wren that stayed still was amazing!!  And a quick visit to the nearby woods for bluebells was a nice end to the day.
